Who we are

The Daughters of Hannah, LLC was established to create a community where women of color who are experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss, miscarriage, who are trying to conceive or who are looking to create their families through other options can find support and education.

The support group was originally established in July 2016 at Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church as an out reach ministry for women in the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area who were experiencing infertility. The first meeting occurred on Thursday, July 22, 2016 with attendance of 5. For the next four years the group continued to meet each fourth Thursday of the month. However, in 2020 with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the group switched from in-person monthly meetings, to meeting online thereby growing its ability to reach more women. The monthly meetings are still held on the fourth Thursday of each month and now attract women from across the United States, Canada, the United Kenya, Africa, and beyond. The have a following of over 1000.

In 2022, Daughters of Hannah, LLC extended its reach and support to form a new group, Hannah’s Answered Prayers. Hannah’s Answered Prayers was created to support women who are on the other side of the infertility journey and starting their families. They have a following of over 200.
